Management

Lenson Wong is President of Symation, Inc., a solutions provider for engineered automation systems from design to installation and support. He has several clients who he has served in engineering design, support and program management roles for nearly 20 years. Previously, Lenson worked as Quality Manager for Moog, Inc, a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision motion control products and systems. He was responsible for implementing a corrective action and preventative action program for wafer handling products. As a critical supplier to a company providing an FDA-approved medical diagnostic equipment, he managed a successful supplier audit.

Previously Lenson was Program Manager at Moog. Inc. for custom automation systems. He was responsible for development and implementation of an automated pipeline welding system used for welding oil and gas pipeline sections offshore. He was also responsible for the development of an automated vehicle used to inspect weld joints at nuclear power plants. Lenson was responsible for managing all business and technical issues for these projects and responsible for negotiating key issues with all stakeholders in the program. He also coordinated on-site activities for the customers in the U.S. and overseas.

Previously, Lenson was Director of Marketing at Berkeley Process Control, a provider of motion controllers and complex motion-based systems.  He coordinated all tradeshow activities including technical demonstrations and promotions for Semicon West for 5 years. He was also a member of the Sales and Marketing Executive Committee of SEMI. He was responsible for all product marketing and marketing communications activities and also served as Director of IT. Previously, Lenson was the Director of Applications Engineering at Berkeley Process Control where he was responsible for engineering support and business development activities as the company grew from $6 million to $37 million annual revenue. He was responsible for all of the proposal activities for systems integration projects, engineering support, training and technical writing.

Lenson has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley and an M.B.A from Duke University. He has also been a guest lecturer in Engineering at U.C. Berkeley. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
